We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Cybersecurity Operations Specialist. This position is located within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at our Dhahran site. Occasional travel may be required to support Air Products global footprint and incident response activities.
What you’ll do:
- Actively facilitate and engage in cyber defense activities including reduction of organizational attack surface, forensics, and monitoring for anomalous activity on the network, including participation in on-call rotation.
- Study adversary techniques, trends and intelligence to inform Air Products’ defensive eco-system and engage in response activities to mitigate threats facing the environment.
- Drive defensive activities across a variety of contexts, including those relating to information technology (IT), operational technology (OT), and insider threats (InTP).
- Innovate upon, integrate, and maintain detailed documentation including diagrams, procedures, and plans (e.g., content rules, response playbooks, etc.)
- Collaborate with fellow cyber defense specialists in optimizing content and processes to minimize repetitive effort, enhance the triage experience, and response agility.
- Engage cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders to support a strong defensive posture while minimizing friction against business strategies.
What we are looking for:
- 8 to 15 years of combined experience performing cyber security analysis, exposure management, threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence and/or incident response activities.
- Demonstratable expertise in managing technology components, configurations, security tooling, and infrastructure (endpoint, network, identity, applications, and data structures).
- Demonstratable expertise in foreniscally assessing common network communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP) and endpoint systems.
- Strong understanding related to industrial networking protocols (ModBus, CIP, OPC, etc.) as well as supporting topologies and leading OT defense practices are required for this role.
- A positive attitude, strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams and world-wide peers collaboratively.
- Cybersecurity certifications paired with hands-on delivery of concepts enhance competitiveness for this position, but are not required.
- Degrees in Cyber Security, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar), Computer Science, or similar scientific / technical field is required for this role.
- Self-motivated, driven to learn, and adaptability to support the team and an ever-evolving threat landscape.
