Our client is seeking an Accounting Analyst II to work within their facilities located in Houston, TX for a 6-month contract, in a full-time position.  
  Responsibilities:  

• Book transactions associated with the purchases and sales of refined products
• Support the Commercial Operations and interact with Commercial product schedulers/traders and external customers
• Work with inventory management for volume discrepancies which may be found on the back end
• Assist with monthly accruals, reconciliations and resolve open items in a timely manner 
• Provide ad hoc reporting and support business initiatives 
• Develop relationships with third party vendors as a representative of the company
• Review contracts to interpret contractual obligations and identify 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
• 3-5 years of experience with trading or scheduling within Oil and Gas 
• Experience with SAP (RightAngle would be a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

• Experience with Movement Capture Analysis
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with a variety of people/disciplines both internal and external
