We are glad to be retained by Europe’s first carbon-negative chemical manufacturer that takes carbon outputs from industrial emitters and turn them into valuable, emission-free green chemicals, and uses them as input for chemical manufacturing. They are searching for an R&D Manager (on-site in Copenhagen, Denmark) to join their ambitious team and make an impact in the world. They have raised over $50M to date from top venture capital investors as well as in grant funding.

Job Summary:
As the R&D Manager, you will lead a team of scientists, and be responsible for driving the R&D efforts across our existing and new products, working closely with our strain developers and computational biologists, as well as the broader engineering and fermentation teams.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for leading our innovation efforts across our multidisciplinary team with a focus on both our existing products and how to optimise production, as well as developing new products via biological and chemical processes.
  • You will work closely with management and the scientific team to define strategic objectives and own project management for key priorities.
Requirements:
  • You have at least 5+ years of R&D experience in a biotech start-up or industry (academia excluded)
  • Strong academic background (Masters or PhD) in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a similar field.
  • Most importantly, you are a creative problem solver, always full of new ideas, hate taking “no” for an answer, prefer to challenge the status quo and never postpone until tomorrow what can be done today.

\nSenior Project Controls Scheduler
\n
\nAirswift is seeking a seeking a Senior Project Controls Scheduler to join our client in St. Petersburg, FL an initial three-year contract basis. This position will have a hybrid schedule (2-3 days\/week in office).
\n
\nThis is the expert level of the Project Controls classification hierarchy. Workers at this level lead the development of the reporting systems for project controls assignments. They perform complex aspects of individual scheduling, change documentation and cost control while reporting up to program or portfolio level as well as trains and teaches other members of PC organization with minimal oversight and wide latitude for unreviewed work. They are also expected to have advanced skills using primavera (p6) and can work independently. This position typically is assigned to high volume of White projects and above classified per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix which typically range from $100M to greater than $500M with a high level of complexity. Must have experience leading schedule review meetings and work with the project team to obtain information to build \/ update the project schedule.
