Airswift is seeking a FPSO Coating / Corrosion Engineer to work on a 12  months renewable assignment in Paris with an Major  O&G Company. 

 

• Start : January 2024  for 12 months renewable
• Location : Paris for 2023/2024,  then  with  the potential to be located within the premises of the FPSO contractors  selected  integration  yard  during  the construction period

Context
Development studies for Block 20 are performed by the GPI, which is a multi-disciplinary and dedicated structure, acting on behalf of the Affiliate (TEPA) in accordance to HQ processes in terms of methodology and governance. This choice is justified by project context, field complexity and the overall project schedule (Fast -track project, 5 years from farm-in and operatorship transfer to First Oil).
The development consists in production by subsea wells to a spread moored FPSO ( 75 kbopd, 60 kbop water injection, 400 MMscfd gas reinjection, oil tandem offloading) with a contextualized Technical Referential.
The service holder shall provide support to the FPSO engineering team, in coordinating the engineering studies performed by the FPSO EPSCC Contractor for bloc 20, leading potentially to cumulated investments for the full project of 8 G$ during the 2022-2040 period of time

Activities

• • Supervise and coordinate the Coating / Corrosion engineering related activities performed by the EPSCC Contractor
  • Provide support and expertise with regards to the Coating / Corrosion discipline
  • Provide support to challenge and support the Contractor in the value engineering exercise. Promote alternatives design to optimize cost, work, and schedule
  • Timely revise and co Supervise and coordinate the Coating / Corrosion engineering related activities performed by the EPSCC Contractor
  • Provide support and expertise with regards to the Coating / Corrosion discipline
  • Provide support to challenge and support the Contractor in the value engineering exercise. Promote alternatives design to optimize cost, work, and schedule
  • Timely revise and comment engineering documents and consolidate comments related to Coating / Corrosion deliverables; liaise with other engineering specialist(s),and entity (Operations, HSE,…) as required
  • Ensure that all engineering activities related to Coating / Corrosion matters are performed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, FPSO Key Technical Requirements (TotalEnergies General Specifications not applicable), with required level of quality, high HSE standards, within the agreed time schedule and cost
  • Prepare deviation requests to FPSO Key Technical Requirements, follow up of the instruction by TotalEnergies Head Office experts to ensure timely answer
  • Promptly respond to engineering clarifications, request for deviations and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and proficient approach
  • Conduct studies leading to technical decision making and issue recommendation to Project Management;
  • Liaise with Head office to get expertise when required in specific Coating / Corrosion subjects
