To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions Angola (Luanda) is looking for an Offshore Supervisor who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Offshore Supervisor together with other colleagues in Aker Solutions Subsea Angola, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

• Organise and successfully ensure performance of offshore operations.
• Conduct and participate in meetings of shift change, handovers, etc.
• Lead and participates in the execution of the offshore operation in accordance with the scope of work, the relevant Aker Solutions subsea installation procedures and relevant Client programs.
• Ensure materials send offshore are checked against loadout manifests on arrival onboard. Report if any mismatch/ damage, etc.
• Performs deck tests of equipment, tooling, etc. as required.
• Contribute on the investigation of NPT, SQF, NCR, etc. related to relevant operation, equipment, tooling, etc.
• Deep water experience is required

 
Competences:
 

• University degree or higher | Extensive experience (10+ years) can be considered as a substitute to formal education.

• Need to have deep water experience

 
Work Experience:
 

• 7 to 10 years' offshore work experience with 3-5 years in drilling & completions holding a

Supervisor/ Team leader role.
 
Professional Experience and Qualifications:
 
General and Multidisciplinary Skills
 

• Fluent English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, power point, word).

 
Specific Skills
 

• Extensive knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas. Drilling & Completions is a must.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Very good knowledge of machine maintenance.
• Strong sense of responsibility.
• Very good experience with depths, weights, SG, pressures, etc. calculations.
• General management skills, including monitoring and planning of activities.

 
Working location: Luanda, Angola
 
Contract duration: October 2023 to May 2024, rotation (2x 28/28)
