We are currently looking for 1st Assistant (equivalent of Deputy Offshore Construction Manager - Assistant Superintendent) to join our Saipem team.

Job Mission:
To coordinate work and manpower on board for the assigned shift in compliance with Project specification, to ensure efficient performance and respecting HSE and Quality procedures and practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Offshore Construction Manager regarding interdisciplinary coordination of all works on board.
- Supervise the team of foremen and supervisors, regarding the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work, to comply with the quality and safety standard.
- Coordinate the construction activities during the shift and optimise all production phases.
- Ensure that the Offshore Construction Manager is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status.
- Liaise with Chief Mate, 2nd Engineer and Vessel Equipment Engineer to ensure preventive maintenance and construction activities.
- Liaise with subcontractors' supervisors to optimize production.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably with Technical High School Diploma or civil, mechanical, electrical or naval engineering background
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- 6-7 years of previous experience in Oil and Gas industry (must have offshore previous experience).
- 4 years of experience in the role of 1st Assistant (Deputy Offshore Construction Manager - Assistant Superintendent, Assistant OCM - Barge foreman)
