Position: Production Operative (PCB Soldering)
Company: Engineering Client (Supplying Aerospace Industry) 
Location: Groby, Leicester
Pay Rate: £11.44 Per Hour (performance based reviews throughout contract)
Contract: 12 months (high chance of permanent role)

NO PREVIOUS SOLDERING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

Hours: 39 Hours per week
• Mon-Wed 0730 – 1630 (2x 15 min & 1x 30 min lunch break)
• Thur: 0730 – 1600 (2x 15 min & 1x 30 min lunch break)
• Fri 0730 – 1300 (1x 15 min break)

Job Summary:

Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to the company Health and Safety Policies. You will be required to undertake training on all associated policies both general and job specific, therefore good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
 
Job Description:
As a PCB Assembly Operator, you are responsible for:
Manual population of printed circuit boards (includes SMD and leaded components).
Processes include: stencil printing (solder paste), reflow oven, wave solder and hand soldering.
Read and understand assembly drawings, bills of materials, route cards and work instructions, to ensure product is assembled accurately and in accordance with our quality standards.
IT skills – basic understanding required, for access to manufacturing documentation.
Housekeeping; your personal work area, tools, equipment and shared spaces are kept clean and tidy.
Carrying out duties within the production area, as instructed by PO/PLL.
 
Requirements:
Manual dexterity – critical, as you will be placing very small components.
Soldering/PCB experience would be desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
