Our client has a permanent opportunity for a Senior Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) Engineer to be based out of Houston, TX.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior CSA Engineer you will work directly with project team members to further develop the Engineering department in order to continuously improve project delivery. The Senior CSA Engineer will lead and take care of coordinating all engineering, construction and commissioning activities during all project phases, with internal and external stakeholders, from feasibility study till takeover by operations.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• The CSA Engineer is involved in Projects as discipline lead, to ensure that CSA disciplines objectives are met in accordance with Project Agreement.
• In a project the CSA Engineer reports to Project Engineering Manager and/or Project Manager. They work independently and might supervise others within own discipline.
• The CSA Engineer demonstrates an in-depth theoretical, conceptual, and practical knowledge in CSA discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
• The CSA Engineer delivers technical specifications and evaluations, as well as cost and manhour estimates. They also perform document review, job supervision and works coordination inside project organization.
• The CSA Engineer contributes to developing Steering Documents and Best Practices. They also deliver assistance to other disciplines or entities.
• The CSA Engineer executes their tasks in every possible project context, in keeping with HESQ requirements, in accordance with core technologies and aiming to value optimization, promoting singular values and reputation.

Profile

• BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Fluent in English, additional languages are an asset.
• Exposure to and experience with various cultures is an asset.
• High level, big picture, adaptable mindset.
• Skilled with mainstream CAD and Structural Analysis software tools, familiar with mainstream Project & Business management software tools.
