Job Purpose
- Marine Offshore Supervisor in charge of monitoring and assisting all marine activities in the field on technical aspect and implementation of Marine Standing Instructions and QSMS.
- To provide marine support to projects related activities in terms of offshore construction / operations, pipe laying, heavy lifts, float over, sail out, load out, load in, cable laying, DP Operations, jackets / Heavy transportations, marine transportations, in order to ensure full compliance and safe execution of projects marine related activities.
- Ensuring compliance of all Contractors/ sub-contractors with DOTL marine standards and other relevant standards.
- Manage contractor’s interfaces to optimize their schedules.
- Coordinate & Monitor / participate in offshore construction units move / Barge move. Support jack up rig moves to and from location as necessary
- Perform technical spot check inspections offshore of jack up barges, construction barges, pipe lay barge, and other specialized marine units, in addition to vessels for compliance with contract requirements
- Monitor marine spreads and assist in optimizing its utilization.
- Ensures that marine charts oilfields network plans, marine related drawings and documentation of all marine units are kept updated.
- Maintain a current knowledge of all Safety matters relevant to its position.
- Initiate action to prevent any nonconformance in the quality and safety management systems (ISO 9001-2008, ISM, ISPS, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001).
- Contribute to the continual review and improvement of the Safety Management system.
- Produce records as required by the Safety Management system.
- Identify and record the non-conformance when problems do occur.
Minimum Education Level Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Sc. Of Maritime Transport

- Certificate of Competency STCW 95 Regulation A-II/2 DP Operator Unlimited
