Aker Solutions is seeking a Consultant SAS / ICSS Commissioning Specialist with experience in onshore or offshore projects for the Jackdaw HUC. The project will be based in UK, Norway and offshore, with trips in Europe.
 
Position Responsibilities:

• Develop control philosophies, functional specifications, and system/network architectures for automation systems.
• Prepare I/O schedules, control narratives, and Cause & Effect diagrams.
• Engage in functional safety activities, including Hazop/LOPA reviews, design of Safety Instrumented functions, and SIL verification.
• Manage alarm management tasks, such as developing alarm schedules and participating in alarm rationalization workshops.
• Demonstrate familiarity with networking protocols and interfacing 3rd party systems with main automation systems.
• Ensure seamless discipline integration and coordination with other project disciplines.
• Follow up on deliverables from vendors and contribute to the document development schedule for Instrument/ICSS and commissioning.
• Input and utilize technical registers (AVEVA, MIPS, Client systems, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with project execution model requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering Contractors to provide clear guidance and clarifications on Scope of Work.
• Ability to travel to Engineering Contractor locations and accommodate stay for necessary periods.
• Lead and oversee all commissioning activities on assigned systems, adhering to commissioning plans and procedures both onshore and offshore.
• Prepare RFCC, RFO, and RFSU certificates and organize and lead handover meetings.

Skills and Levels Description:

• Comprehensive understanding of instrument systems, Safety and Automation Systems (SAS), and multidiscipline knowledge related to EIT work processes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Efficient and highly productive work ethic.
• Proactive in taking initiative and adept at addressing tasks.
• Strong team player with exceptional collaboration abilities.
