Fully remoteOur client, a forward-thinking renewable energy development company with their head office in Dublin are seeking a Project Manager across their Hydrogen space.
As a Project Manager for hydrogen development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our renewable energy projects, focusing on hydrogen production, storage, and utilization. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure project objectives are met, and contribute to a sustainable energy future.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership:Take ownership of hydrogen development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Lead a team of professionals to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.
2. Strategic Planning: Develop project strategies, define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, and create detailed project plans. Ensure alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
3. Resource Management: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to meet project timelines and quality standards. Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed.
4. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. Maintain open and transparent communication to manage expectations and resolve issues.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation plans. Proactively address challenges to ensure project success.
6. Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure that projects meet or exceed industry standards and specifications.
7. Budget Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate financial reporting. Ensure cost control measures are in place throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Timeline Adherence: Monitor project timelines and milestones, identifying and addressing any delays or issues promptly. Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
9. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Ensure all project data is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on renewable energy or hydrogen-based projects.
- Strong knowledge of hydrogen production, storage, and utilization technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
