Role/Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming components before line delivery to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform layered audit and quality checks
- Ability to review parts and make determinations if they pass/fail the quality standards
- Assist production to manage nonconforming product and to analyze and eliminate problems.
- Perform product and process audits and follow up on non-conformities detected by the audits.
- Document non-conformances and route to applicable parties for investigation.
- Ensure the fulfillment of the control plan for incoming goods, assembly processes and finished products.
- Use various tools, fixtures, measurement devices to analyze functionality of product.
- Document and complete required checks utilizing electronic or hard copy means to record product status.
- Additional responsibilities and activities may be added on a need basis, as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of Quality Inspection experience
- Broad knowledge of quality systems
- Technical and administrative skills: Familiarity with product & process auditing techniques, corrective & preventive action methods, basic hand tools for measurement, inspection methods & reporting, calibration, basic statistical knowledge, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledgeable in Quality Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VW FORMEL-Q) preferred
- Motivation to confront challenges and changes, ability to influence others to cooperate.
- Acting independently (following process rules, norms, and company policy), depending on superiors.
- Logical-analytical thinking.
