Senior Procurement Contracts Manager - Sweden

On behalf of a major EPC, WRS are looking for a Senior Prucrement Contracts Manager to work in Sweden on a contract, rotational basis. This will be a long term contract, rotating 3/1 into Skelleftea, paying an hourly rate in Swedish Krona.

The role itself will be supporting the construction of a Lithium Battery Gigafactory.

Job Duties include:

• Contract managers are responsible for successfully managing contract changes post-award.  This involves analyzing and responding to contractor correspondence in such a manner so as to not eviscerate the Client's rights and remedies under the contract.  It also involves developing claims defense strategies and engaging Legal resources as required to implement such strategies. 
• Identifying, solicit and select reliable contractors to supply consultant, with speciality and construction services to support project execution. 
• Negotiate terms & conditions, prepare contracts, monitor contractor performance and delivery of services to meet objectives. 
• Provide agreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices to ensure the required services to clients

Ideal candidate will have:

• University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience on data centre/battery projects is desireable
• Relevant experience including supervisory, project management and/or technical experience. 
• Ability to troubleshoot and develop tactical plans for implementing organizational goals and oversee the design of new concepts and ideas related to projects as well as functional area of expertise;
• Broad knowledge of functional area and ability to implement and lead organizational project change effectively;
• Right to work in Sweden
