About this role: Mechanical Fitter - Commissioning

We are seeking Mechanical Fitters with commissioning experience for the Iron Bridge Project.This role offers Weekly Pay, 12 hour days, a rolling roster and corporates benefit such as: Salary Sacrificing/ Leasing/ Corporate discounts and Employee assistance program available 24/7.

• Ensure commissioning plans are completed meticulously and on time, following established procedures and guidelines
• Collaborate with the commissioning team to achieve objectives in the Wet Plant and Crushing circuits
• Contribute to production and maintenance commissioning strategies for the OPF, with a focus on the crushing circuit
• Document and record mechanical testing data, including Inspection Test Reports (ITR) and equipment condition monitoring
• Ensure equipment compliance and safety during the commissioning process
• Troubleshoot and address mechanical issues to maximize operational efficiency
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for seamless equipment integration
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain accurate documentation

What you need to bring:

• Fitter Trade Qualification
• Full Manual Drivers Licence (minimum)
• Considerable experience in commissioning fixed plant
• Previous Commissioning experience in Wet Plant and Crushing circuits or similar
• Understanding of production and maintenance commissioning strategies for the OPF, including the crushing circuit
• Operational process plant experience, including fault finding and breakdowns
• Exposure to live operational process plants
• Proficiency in collecting accurate data and completing Inspection Test Records (ITRs), condition monitoring of equipment (vibration, temperature analysis)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and zero harm
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
