Our client, a major Oil & Gas Company is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to work within their facilities located in Beaumont, TX for a 12-month contract (high possibility to extend).
The candidate will support withs schedules and revises shipment plans, analyze inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.

Responsibilities:

• Support document control and verify/receive inbound material deliveries for Maintenance and Engineering.
• Manage $4M+ on site inventory with internal software
• Utilize SAP for creating service and material purchase requisitions, ordering contracted material, and monitoring purchase order activity. Provide support to SES approver as needed.
• Assist Business Support with capturing all pending invoices for cost tracking, submit requests for purchase order closeouts, run reports to view open SES and blocked invoices (Maintenance), and provide support to vendors on Accounts Payable workflow.
• Provide oversight to annual 225 physical inventory count by researching discrepancies, assisting Counters in locating parts, handling recounts, and inputting all inventory counts in the system.
• Maintain cost tracking and budget for Maintenance and Engineering department.
• Provide general administrative support to Maintenance and Engineering department.
• Support with physically counts & administration of materials (up to 20% of the assignment).

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Inventory Control responsibilities
• Mindset: organized, attention to detail, multi-tasker, compliance driven.
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office Excel and Data-Entry activities
• SAP will be a plus
• Mechanical inclined background will be a plus
• AP knowledge will be a plus
