No experience / No degreeThe Senior Accounts Payable Administrator supports the success of the Accounts Payable department through an efficient and modern accounts payable program. This person will be the liaison for the Senior Accounts Payable Analyst. As a member of the accounting and shared financial services team, the AP administrator facilitates the proper utilization and disbursement of payables in a strategic and customer-friendly manner. In addition to providing oversight to the accounts payable program, the Senior AP Administrator proactively researches and resolves concerns, continuously enhances AP services to meet the changing needs of the ABS companies, ensures compliance, and contributes to the work of the accounting team.

What You Will Do:
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- Perform account reconciliations to include bank accounts, clearing accounts, travel and entertainment accounts, intercompany accounts, and other Accounts Payable related balance sheet accounts.
- Releasing and approving invoices, batches, and payments.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status.
- Employee reimbursements and Company credit card reconciliation using expense reporting systems and tools.
- Open mail and scan invoices to Accounts Payable processors.
- Ensure all escalated inquiries and issues are responded to and resolved promptly.
- Build solid relationships across all business units with internal and external partners while offering unsurpassed customer service.
- Assist AP Manager and Senior AP Analyst with Projects as needed.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equal proven field experience.
- Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible Accounts Payable experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Able to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple assignments.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy concerning reporting and processing.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with Oracle EBS (R12) and/or Kofax / Markview a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equal proven field experience.
- Obtain a working knowledge of ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management.
