We are seeking skilled press officers and media relations professionals to join Aramco's International Media
Relations (IMR) Unit. The role includes developing and issuing press releases, handing inquiries, conducting
interviews, and handling media engagements.
The International Media Relations (IMR) Unit functions as the Company's primary point of contact for journalists
and media outlets around the world. The unit performs a range of media-related tasks involving global print,
online and broadcast channels.
Operating on the front lines of media relations, the unit is entrusted with safeguarding and building the
reputation of one of the world's leading energy and chemicals companies.
Candidate will be required to perform the following tasks:
• Build, maintain, and actively manage relationships with journalists and media outlets, including Tier 1
international titles, trade and special-interest publications (covering print, online and broadcast
channels).
• Provide functional support and advice to senior leaders on strategic media issues.
• Contribute to crisis communication and response management.
• Support the Company's quarterly results announcements, including media calls and interviews.
• Prepare media plans, communications briefings and Q&A documents for executives.
• Coordinate media visits, interviews and background briefings.
• Develop corporate announcements and press releases.
• Provide on-site media relations support to executives at international events, conferences and during
company activities.
• Respond effectively to media enquiries in a timely manner.
• Develop materials that effectively communicate Aramco's strategic objectives to global media.
• Identify potential opportunities to engage with media on high-value projects.
• Support story generation activities, including proactive article and thought leadership development.
• Foster positive internal relationships across the company, to support the International Media Relations
Unit's key objectives.
