Job Title: IT Technical Lead, Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
Reporting Manager: Senior Manager, Global Corporate Systems
Your Responsibilities
Work with IT Project Managers and IT Project Functional leads / IT Business partners as the Technical Lead in rolling out Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) which includes and not limited to configuring Oracle Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Reporting, and Project resource management.
• Manage the Oracle PPM Platform Administration from User Access, Updates and Upgrade.
• Manage and Lead Configuration Change Management as per ITIL process.
• Responsible in setting up and maintaining Platform Integrations
• Own the Oracle PPM the User & Data Access Security Compliance
• Train and Support Business Functional Administrators.
• Handles all Level 2 Support for PPM and interface directly with Oracle Support and/or Technical Consultants.
• Work with co-IT Technical leads for Cloning procedures and end-to-end system process testing.
• Own the Oracle Quarterly Update Process from sandbox testing until it reaches deployment to live with minimal impact to the operation.
• Manage and lead the importing or loading of bulk master static data, opening and historical data validated by IT Functional Leads
Your Knowledge Skill/Education & Experience
Qualification/ Certification:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / IT / Accounting / Commerce
• Certified Oracle Project Cloud Implementation Specialist - Preferred
• Training or module certifications for Oracle Project Management Cloud - Preferred
• 3 to 5 Years of experience in a similar role in configuring and rolling out Oracle Fusion PPM.
• At least 3 years in Post GO Live support role for Business Team
Skills Requirement:
• Team Player
• Can work in minimal supervision
• Resourceful and Take initiative to make a valuable contribution
• With Good Problem Solving
• Strong background in working with multiple projects
Communication:
• Proficient in speaking and writing English
Core Competencies:
Technical Experience in setting up and configuring PPM:
• Projects Units Organizations and Options
• Unit Assignments, hierarchies and classifications
• Project accounting functions
• Categories and types for revenue and expenditure types
• Project Roles and Statuses
• Foundation for Labor and Organization Costing
• Project Cost Source which includes OTL and Expense Management
• Initial Project Plan , Budget and Forecast
• Project Approvals
• Setup Project Reports and KPI
Hands-on Experience and ability to train Functional System Administrators in the following areas but not limited to:
• Maintain Project Team Members, Project Budgets / Forecast / Plan and Project Contracts
• Maintain Cost / Sales Rates Schedules and overrides
• Maintain Project Resources with collaboration with HR Administrators
• Maintain Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders with Procurement Team
• Maintain related Supplier Invoices with Finance Team
• Maintain Project Cost Accounting Process with Finance, Timesheet and Expense Management team
• Maintain Project Billing and invoices with Project Contract Team
• Maintain Invoice Receivables and Revenue with Finance team
Details about the role:
Location: India Office, Hybrid Model, Remote
Relocation required: No
Specific: Requires to be in the India office for at least one working week each month.
Travel required: Depending on the business requirement, we will require minimum travel to Corporate Offices.
Contract type: Permanent
