The Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Actively supporting a working culture based on respect for HSE issues and asset integrity
- Develop excellent working relationships with offshore/onshore production operations, the technical authorities, verification engineers, discipline engineers and others as appropriate.
- The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be part of the maintenance development team and work alongside other Mechanical Engineers.
- Work with operations personnel for planned and corrective maintenance of mechanical and rotating systems and equipment.
- Monitor the performance, failures and serviceability of all mechanical plant, associated mechanical control systems and equipment.
- As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will support with the installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment alongside documented maintenance programmes.
- Ensure all third-party support performs in line with contract deliverables.
- Ensure all hazardous mechanical equipment is maintained.
- Preparation, management and control of all associated OPEX budgets.
- Offshore visits to ensure support and full understanding of operational issues.
- Carry out Root Cause Investigations to improve equipment reliability and availability.
As the Senior Mechanical Engineer you'll have:
- BSc or equivalent standard inclusive of operational/technician experience .
- Relevant experience in Mechanical asset integrity/maintenance.
- 2+ years of post-graduate minimum of mechanical and rotating equipment maintenance and control system interfaces.
