Job Purpose: • Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of valves and Pressure relief valves and appurtenances throughout the different ISG Gas facilities. • Single point for all maintenance and reliability issues relating to valves and Pressure relief valves. • Custodian of Pressure relief valves calibration. • Utilise valve team and contractor resources to ensure the approved maintenance program for valves is executed safely and ensure high reliability.
Job Dimensions: • Provide oversight for all valves field inspections, repairs, maintenance and calibration. • Responsible for the valves maintenance program to ensure compliance with approved maintenance practices, quality of preparation, execution and reporting of work. • Identify and diagnose breakdowns or anomalies. • Perform valves maintenance, order replacement components, and document appropriately. • Replace or repair the defective elements. • Ensure compliance with the maintenance planning process for valves team activities. • Researches and documents valves and appurtenances information. • Close vendor contact including develop and follow-up the purchase of special parts equipment or vendor services. • Ensure that the activities are carried out in strict compliance with company current HSE rules. • Maintain the HSE and Competency Assessment and development plans for the valves team. • Assist/lead investigations of accidents and other HSE non-compliances. • Assist / lead investigations of Production Upsets and other reliability related events. • Participate in risk assessments, pre-startup safety reviews, audits, and perform other functions related to the technical safety of the valves.
Education: • University Degree in relevant technical discipline.
Experience: • Minimum 7 years relevant work experience as valves maintenance specialist in oil and gas industry. • General understanding of supply chain methods. • Experience in valve fabrication and installation will be a plus. • Strong communication skills. • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills essential. • Confident in using computer programmes such as Microsoft office and CMMS. • Quality and detail focused. • Ability to identify potential issues/problems and apply effective solutions as required.
