About the Job

Reporting functionally to Paris OC Quality Head and Operationally to the Project Manager you are responsible for setting up and monitoring the Project Quality Management system ensuring pro-active quality support to the Project team to meet Client and quality requirements and in accordance with the Project Quality strategy.

Depending of the size of the project you may manage Quality Managers / Engineers during all project phases and in all areas.

Your main missions are to:
  • Proactively interacts and influences members of the Project Management team for the implementation of an effective and efficient Project Quality Management System at head office, vendor shops, sites/yards and other center involved in the project execution according to project standards and client expectations.
  • Leads, develops, and implements project-wide system audits and quality plans as validated by the line manager
  • Maintains strong relationships with the Client quality representatives to report progress and handle inquiries and issues.
  • Promotes a Quality culture on the project/site, ensuring implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems
  • Participates actively in the risk assessment workshops on the project
  • Implements an effective corrective and preventive action system and tracks closure of NCRs and waiver requests
  • Assists in the definition of project objectives and metrics (KPI), analyzes performance, proposes corrective actions
  • Leads or participates in investigations to resolve quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, recommending corrective actions and ensuring they are effectively executed.
  • Co-ordinates a functional quality network between operating units on project to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitates the Lesson Leant and Feedback process throughout the project lifecycle to ensure implementation of Lesson Learn and the capture and communication of feed backs and best practices.
  • Assists the discipline teams in the development and approval of the project procedures including Discipline Quality Plan.
  • Provides quality training & awareness on quality activities planned for the project.
  • Ensures proper implementation of criticality rating system and surveillance for procured items.
  • Ensures that a system is in place whereby only approved suppliers and subcontractors are used.
  • Ensures the project Client Satisfaction Surveys are carried out as planned.
  • Helps in defining project objectives and metrics (KPI), ensures reporting is in place, analyses performance, proposes corrective or improvement actions and report.
  • May assist in the development of ITPs and review of site procedures and QCPs


About You
  • Technician or graduate engineer with a specialization in Quality / Quality Control Management, you have a significant experience within industrial projects encompassing Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
  • Experience as Project Quality Manager, with experience Yards / Construction sites
  • ISO 9001:2015 Auditor certification.
  • Knowledge/experience of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Experience within a formal Management System and in people management
  • Team spirit, ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English (French will be appreciated)
