We are seeking to recruit a Tax Manager to strengthen our Tax team in the Netherlands. This role will be based in Zoetermeer and report to the Head of Tax. About the Job

In this role you will be part of the global tax team, a team of 25 tax professionals currently. The global tax team is responsible for providing reliable and timely tax advice for various (international) business initiatives and ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance and reporting. While each team member may have their (geographical) area of focus, our collective success is built on strong collaboration and mutual support to achieve our goals.

Technip Energies Tax staff generally have a dual reporting line which ensures a local endorsement of the tax function and alignment with the business strategy. This new position is within the Tax team situated in Zoetermeer Operating Center (ZOC), Netherlands and you will be reporting to Head of Tax ZOC. You also have a functional reporting line with the Corporate Tax Department, with ultimate reporting to the Vice president of Tax. In this role, your focus will be on managing international and corporate tax matters of the Dutch entities, as well as the tax implications of possible strategic (M&A) investments. Additionally, youll support the business with respect to project related taxes. Youll closely collaborate with the regional Sales, Finance and Legal departments, as well as the Tender and Technology teams.

In this role youll be responsible for:
  • Assisting international projects and providing advice on (international) tax matters, including corporate income tax, withholding taxes, VAT, transfer pricing, and permanent establishment issues. You will collaborate and liaise very closely with the other tax teams around the Globe on various business initiatives with an international tax aspect.
  • Being responsible for the tax aspects and compliance of all Dutch entities. This includes identifying tax risks, providing practical solutions, and overseeing implementation in case of collaborations/investment (M&A) activities.
  • Providing input for tax planning analyses, tax audits, tax review of business transactions and business restructurings, and supporting the tax team with ad-hoc tax queries.
  • Managing and informing key business and finance stakeholders about tax implications connected to ongoing or new projects and business initiatives.

You are pro-active and independent. This position desires your diplomatic and pragmatic skills. You have strong analytical skills as well as a good knowledge of corporate tax issues. Having the ability to easily adapt allows you to intervene in a variety of subjects.

About You
  • You have masters degree in Tax Law or Tax Accounting,
  • You already have your first professional experience in Tax within Big Four or Tax Law firm or within the Tax Department of a Multinational Company,
  • Your English is fluent, and you are used to working in English,
  • Experience with IBFD and Kluwer Navigator would be a plus.
  • You are a member of NOB.

At Technip Energies we offer you a salary that conforms to your position, a monthly fixed allowance, 28 (holiday) leave days, a commuting allowance, and good pension arrangements.
