Petrofac have a requirement for a Decommissioning Project Engineering Contractor (Facilities). The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.

We are looking for specialist with an understanding of the full decommissioning life cycle, preferably across business capture and execution. Engineering (structural, process, subsea), Production Operations and/or Operations Representative background, specifically in respect of topsides process isolation, shutdown and start-up operations.

Scope of Services :

• Responsible for performing all duties with due regard to the health, safety of self, others and of the environment in which they are undertaken.
• Responsible for safely achieving project objectives.
• Liaison with all members of the project team to ensure that objectives for the project are defined and fully understood.
• I nput to all project deliverables in accordance with the Petrofac Project Delivery Process.
• Input technical expertise into project decommissioning preparation activities, including EDC/DPV (DPFV), construction preparatory activities and asset removal.
• Input technical expertise on Topside Discipline Engineering, Design and Construction related activities.

Deliverables:

• Support project focal point in project control, technical assurance, and reporting, including discipline engineering, design and construction interfaces, subcontract management and interfaces and project execution.
• Provide services from Client facilities where required.
• Responsible for monitoring project progress in line with agreed costs and schedules, raising any concern areas to project focal point.
• Participate in the analysis, diagnosis and resolution of areas of deviation from estimate within the project.
• Work to the project interface management plan to maintain the alignment of client and Petrofac processes during the project lifecycle.
• Analyse, diagnose and use professional management tools and professional judgement to resolve problems in a discrete manner.
• Support the HES and commercial risk and opportunity management process.
• Support the development and adherence to the decommissioning business management system.
• Support Decommissioning Project Manager in execution of scope.
• Support development of project controls, execution, and communications plans.
• Develop and maintain the risk and opportunity registers.
• D evelop project execution planning documentation.
