Position Purpose

Audit of Operations / Projects with particular focus on Engineering, Procurement, Construction as well as Project Controls (Cost, Contracts, Schedule and Risk), HSE, Quality.

Additionally, exposure to Audits of Entities / Operating Centers, covering processes such as: HR, Proposal & Estimation, Contract Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Procurement, Finance, General Accounting, etc.

Audits will be performed as per Internal Audit Charter, Institute of Internal Auditors guidelines and Internal Audit Methodology, following a risk based approach.

Responsabilities

(A) Activities as Auditor
  • Audit allocated Areas
    • Projects Audits Engineering, Procurement & Subcontracting, Construction, Quality, HSE, Contract Management, Cost Control, Risk Management etc.
    • Entity Audits - Finance, Procurement, HR, Risk Management, Cost Control, Proposal & Estimation, Contract Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, IT etc.
  • Conduct walkthroughs with the Process owners to define the control environment and validate its compliance with Group Policies & Standards and Guidelines, Project Procedure, Local Procedures.
  • Identify risks in the processes and perform rigorous testing over the controls identified during both the walkthroughs and as set in the applicable Procedures.
  • Write Audit Findings and finalize it with Audit Lead and process owners, proposing recommendations and evaluating Auditees Action Plans.
  • Follow up with the auditee for the closure of agreed action plans of the audit findings.


(B) Activities as Audit Lead

When Assigned to Lead an Audit Engagement:
  • Perform a General Risk Assessment to identify the Scope of Work for the Audit.
  • Develop Audit scope and finalize it with VP Internal Audit.
  • Prepare presentations for Kick Off Meetings, audit progress meetings with Project Directors / OC Heads / Function Head and Close out Meetings.
  • Supervise and review the work of other audit team members.
  • Review findings of other team members and finalize them with VP Internal Audit.
  • Prepare Audit Report and finalize it with VP Internal Audit.


Ideal profile
  • Masters Degree in Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of work experience in one of T.EN Engineering Disciplines (Process / Mechanical / Piping / Civil / etc.) or as a Project Engineer / Engineering Manager.
  • Strong communication (verbally and written) as well as interpersonal skills: ability to present and sustain the results of the Audit to Managers / Project Directors / Managing Directors
  • Strong analytical skills and ability in driving process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently under general guidance and or with self-initiative.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn outside of the comfort zone.
  • Good handle of Office suite: Word, Power Point and Excel. Proficient in Excel analytics.
  • Knowledge of T.EN softwares EasyPlant / Easy Piping / SPMAT / Primavera P6 / Intelex / RMA / Etc. will be added advantage.
  • Fluent in English.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Spends 60% of time in office with 40% travel as necessary visiting T.EN regional offices / project locations across the globe.
