The successful candidate for this position will report to either the Seattle or Portland office (with potential for full-time remote work), providing engineering analysis and design on a variety of civil and/or mechanical engineering and fisheries related projects. Primary responsibilities include design of process water supply and treatment systems, utilities, wastewater, hydraulics, and coordination of design team activities.

• Design process water supply and treatment systems, utilities, wastewater, hydraulics, and coordinate design team activities.
• Prepare construction documents and provide assistance with construction administration and commissioning of the facility.
• Projects may include conservation and enhancement hatcheries, research facilities, acclimation facilities, fish passage, fish collection and sorting, and aquaculture water treatment.
• Develop relationships with existing and potential fishery clients.
• Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Support development of permitting related documents.
