Candidate Profile

• You have a university degree in Finance, Management or Accounting;
• You have a minimum of 3 to 6 years' experience in the Finance sector;
• A good knowledge of SAP would be a plus;
• You have a good knowledge of IFRS and Belgian Gaap accounting principles;
• You have good interpersonal skills and are a team player;
• You have good didactic skills;
• You are autonomous and rigorous;
• You are fluent in French and English.

Activities

Your main tasks will be as follows:

• You will manage the organisation of accounting closures in close collaboration with TGFS. As part of this, you will be in direct contact with Branch and Business Unit Management Control.
• You will collect all requests for entries from management controllers and sites, examine them and forward them to the shared services centre for recording.
• You assess the proposed provisions (tax, social security, commercial) relating to your scope
• You manage the accounts of the entity/entities within your scope in close collaboration with the other support departments and the Belgian sites
• You create the various local reports, in particular the production of statutory accounts and statistics for the National Bank of Belgium
• Working with the financial controllers, you will review the value of shareholdings
• You will gather information for the correct presentation of off-balance sheet commitments
• You will play an important role in relations with the Statutory Auditors, and in this capacity you will coordinate the audits of the Statutory Auditors in your area of activity.
• You will participate in the preparation of monthly economic results by BU/LBU (Local Business Unit) for the entity/entities within your scope.

Context & Environment

TotalEnergies Petrochemicals & Refining is looking for its future Coordinator Reporting and accounting flows.

As Coordinator Reporting and accounting flows within the Refining & Chemicals (RC) Finance Division, you will be responsible for the smooth interaction between the various RC Branch support departments, the BUs' management control teams and the shared services centres (TGFS - TotalEnergies Global Financial Services) for your scope.

In addition, you will play a facilitating role in the exchange of information between all those involved in the various accounting processes.

The position is based in Brussels. Possibility of teleworking.
