We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project and Business Developer with specialized expertise in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) regasification projects on a global scale.
The ideal candidate will lead the identification, development, and execution of LNG regasification projects, leveraging their deep understanding of the LNG market, regulatory frameworks, and project management skills to drive business growth and expansion.

This role is based in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for LNG regasification projects, considering market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
• Business Development: Identify and evaluate potential opportunities for LNG regasification projects globally, including market research, feasibility studies, and risk assessment.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry partners, and clients to facilitate project development and execution.
• Project Management: Lead the development and execution of LNG regasification projects from inception to completion, including site selection, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including cost estimation, revenue projections, and investment appraisal, to ensure the financial viability and profitability of LNG regasification projects.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate agreements, contracts, and partnerships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to secure project funding, resources, and support.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams involved in LNG regasification projects, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
• Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies in LNG regasification to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in LNG industry with a focus on regasification projects, including business development, project management, and commercial negotiations.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and executing LNG regasification projects on a global scale, with demonstrated results in revenue generation and business growth.
• Strong understanding of LNG market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, project management tools, and MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
