Candidate Profile

  • College Degree
  • Paralegal certificate from ABA approved school preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Processing financial documents, invoices, e-billing.
  • Familiarity with Delaware corporate law and related structures and documentation.
  • Ability to analyze and summarize complex development topics, aggregate decision-relevant information to convey messages clearly and concisely, and objectively develop, challenge, and verify conclusions.
  • Comfortable working in cross-cultural teams, collaborating across country boundaries with a sense for diversity and inclusion.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet deadlines; ? Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Highest standards of ethics and integrity.

Activities

  • Work in TELA and CSC to process changes in corporate governance so that they are accurately reflected.
  • Creating, redlining, and proofreading a variety of documents (including emails, memos, contracts, and PowerPoint presentations)
  • Timely accurately track outside counsel and TEAS legal vendor and contract employee invoices, including by proactively seeking out solutions and inter-department coordination to ensure prompt payment.
  • Initiating check and wire transfer requests, as well as inter-affiliate billings
  • Vendor set-up and updating vendor information, as required.
  • Assisting TEAS Legal Department members in implementing and tracking budgets, reporting, and accruals
  • Coordinating and booking business travel, and processing resulting expense reports
  • Coordinating meetings and events by handling time and meeting requests, booking conference rooms / meeting space, directing event vendors and meeting set-up, initiating video/conference calls and catering needs
  • Providing communication assistance to members of the TEAS Legal Department and liaising between TEAS Legal Department members and their internal/external clients
  • Onboarding and Offboarding TEAS Legal Department employees and expats
  • Opening and Closing matters in Legal Tracker and managing invoice mailbox
  • Special projects, as assigned.
  • In conjunction with the Projects, Commercial Law, HSSE, Litigation, Trade & Compliance, and Corporate Law teams, work cooperatively on all aspects of the TotalEnergies Company business activities in the U.S.
