JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC and we are looking to hire a Senior Piping Materials Engineer to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of PMS (Piping Material Specification) for Process and Utility Services.
• Preparation of Pipe wall thickness calculations based on Internal and external pressure as per ASME B31.3.
• Preparation of branch reinforcement calculations as per ASME B31.3.
• Preparation of Valve datasheets.
• Preparation of Specification for all types of piping items (components) including line Pipes, flanges fittings, Valves and Specialty items.
• Preparation of MR for Piping items.
• Technical Bid Evaluation for Piping items.
• Review and approval of vendor drawings for valves and various piping specialty items.
• Review and approval of vendor drawings for valves and various piping specialty items.
• Additional knowledge of Jacketed piping.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years experience in Oil and Gas industry
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Senior Engineer role
• Must have extensive onshore gas FEED projects experience
• Highly Preferable to have middle east project experience
