JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the execution of the engineering and design efforts on a project for completion of a quality and safe project for the Client. Support interface with project management, electrical design personnel, Clients technical and project management contacts, and other disciplines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical execution of the engineering to properly size, specify, purchase and install a complete and operating electrical system that meets the Client requirements.
• Support communications between the project team, the engineering and design team members to assure quality of work, and that consistent technical content drawing / design packages are maintained throughout a project.
• Sizing of overall electrical system.
• Specification, selection and purchase of all Electrical equipment to meet the performance criteria.
• Integrate packaged equipment into overall system design.
• Support development of detailed design drawings including Single-lines, Plans, Details, Wiring diagrams and Fabrication Drawings
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards applicable to Oil &Gas and Refining Industries (API, ISA, NEC / IEC, NFPA, ASME, etc.)
• Support labor and material estimates for projects.
• Support progress, schedule, staffing planning, and coordination with project management including regular reporting.
• Perform Electrical study (load flow, short circuits, transient stability, etc.)
• Meeting QA/QC requirement.
• Meeting project schedule and deliver quality technical deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 12+ years of experience in engineering design in upstream oil & gas project
• At least 5 years in senior role in designing of offshore WHP, CPP, FPSO
• Experience in Conceptual, FEED, detail design and EPCC project.
• Experience using ETAP is preferable.
