JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Design Moineau power-sections for specific and generic applications
• Utilize standard engineering calculations related to design of Moineau type pumps and power sections
• Complete assignments received from supervisor using established design tools and procedures
• Facilitate the ordering and testing of prototype and qualification power-sections
• Measure and record accurate and complete documentation of data and test results in a timely manner
• Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines
• Participate in action plans for new projects defined by supervisor
• Consistently produce quality work and recommend areas where quality can be improved
• Assist with generation and delivery of internal and external customer presentations
• Provide disposition of non-conforming power-section product as needed
• Process power-section related design requests in JDE, Teamcenter, and related software
• Provide detail drawings and manufacturing parameters
• Provide training on measuring and maintaining power sections
• Assist with investigation of power-section field failures

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 5 years power section design and testing experience
• Product specific design training - able to use design concepts, manufacturing knowledge, and repair knowledge to trouble shoot product function issues.
• CAD - create/manipulate complex models/parts/assemblies and drawings
• Product requests: Receive, create and process product requests in document control software such as Teamcenter and JDE
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work flow
• Skills in verbal communications, problem solving, and record keeping
