XL Systems supplies the onshore and offshore oil and gas drilling industry with robust and reliable connector products for conductor and surface casing applications.

Reporting to the EH Sales Director, this role focuses on XL Systems' XCalibur product line for the oil and gas drilling industry. Responsibilities include liaising with customers and internal departments, managing the regional service department, and driving continuous improvement. Ideal for a dynamic leader with operational expertise eager to tackle new challenges and contribute to company objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, finalise and implement the sales strategy of the business in line with the overall global Business Plan to grow revenue and gross margin.
  • Create and maintain relationships with senior management tier within customers and third-party stakeholders and identify and communicate strategies across our business.
  • Educate sales and field service teams in OCTG products and practices with special emphasis on XCalibur.
  • Set up a licensee support network to assist customer operations with local repair tooling and pup joints near to project location.
  • Assist with auditing licensees as required.
  • Identify possible satellite manufacturing shops that can support production at busy periods when XL's capacity is stretched.
  • Work together with regional sales teams on strategy to market and progress the global footprint of XCalibur.
  • Assist with identifying product suppliers to optimise costs of XCalibur.
  • Liaising directly with customers, internal staff and any personnel involved in relation to field service work/requests within the region.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all field service work/requests are documented, and details of the work and requirements are fully understood.
What you will have

  • Have or develop a good understanding of the Global Market for oil and gas and the economic environment within which we compete
  • Working knowledge of OCTG and large OD conductor / casing, preferably in a service, Sales or marketing environment
  • Working knowledge of global industry standards (DNV, Lloyds Register etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
