Essential Responsibilities:
- Support electrical hardware development and implement solutions for NDT test equipment.
- Hardware implementation - Component selection, Schematics design & PCB layout support, Simulation, Analysis and testing
- Firmware and FPGA coding implementation with C/C++, Verilog / VHDL on Xilinx and Altera platform
- Support prototype building, wring, testing & co-ordination with cross functional team.
- Analyze and develop Test Plans and procedures for Qualification and Acceptance processes.
- Troubleshoot defects in the design via hands on testing and through feedback.
- Support field equipment installation, testing and qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant post-degree industrial experience.
- Knowledge of Digital/Analog circuit design, PCB schematic and layout experiences with Altium / Eagle or other ECAD tools
- Experiences on FPGA design with Verilog/VHDL on Intel / Xilinx or other platforms
- Experiences on Firmware design with C/C++ on ARM or other microcontrollers
- Knowledge in SPI, I2C, TCP/IP and other serial communication protocols
- Experiences on board level circuit boards test, debugging and repairing.
- Experience using Hardware lab equipment such as digital scope, logic analyzer, and soldering skills.
- Highly innovative, self-motivated, and able to conduct research independently.
- Excellent team working ability, communication skills, and flexibility.
- Problem solving tools and practical problem solving.
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft office applications - Word, Power Point, Excel.
