JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Must travel to rig sites; Audit Field Technician, rig condition/installation audit, and ensure Field Technicians are properly trained and are meeting expectations.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Audit Field Technicians trucks to ensure that all expectations are met.
  • Log service details in RESCO as soon as the call comes in.
  • Dispatch service calls to the appropriate technician.
  • Supervisor is required to manager response time.
  • Supervisor is required to maintain communication with the customer with and ETA.
  • Maintain and update daily time log (start time and end time) for each technician.
  • If a technician does not have a service call, verify they are heading to one of their assigned rigs to perform a "Courtesy call".
  • Field supervisor is required to maintain each rig specific needs (billing, QCA, rig verifications, serial #, etc...).
  • If possible, establish a timetable for the day for each tech, need to identify items on the "to do list" (billing, QCA, rig verifications, serial #, etc....) for each rig they may be visiting for the day.
  • Ability to produce weekly and monthly reports.
  • Communicate and hold team accountable when necessary.
  • Interview field technician candidates and onboard once hired.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Gather and utilize competitor intelligence to strengthen our product offering and market position.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Management experience (10 employees) within an oilfield service organization.
  • Must be flexible and responsive to customers' needs in a service environment.
  • Electronic/mechanical background preferred.
  • Receive, issue, and track inventory within shop.
  • Weekly asset and JDE counts.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • AA Degree and/ or equivalent education with 2+ years' experience is preferred in relevant field.

  • Understand installation and commissioning processes for Rig Side Network and communication systems
