- Process all claims in accordance with NOV Grant Prideco's policy and procedures
- Maintain NOV Grant Prideco's and respective Customer Confidentiality in all matters
- Must be available for call out any time
- Manage and coordinate required activities of both Field Service and Claims functions for the NOV Grant Prideco's Drill Stem Division including coordinating the repair of any defective material, replacement and or credit issuance as necessary.
- Coordinate all field service/Claims activities and related service as applicable.
- Communicate with Customers and their representatives regarding technical application of product, field running issues, and customer claim updates
- Ensure all claims and complaints are opened, tracked and maintained in NOV Grant Prideco internal quality system
- Coordinate and advise customers on proper procedure of product in a professional manner.
- Coordinate the process of the repair of any defective material
- Maintain established claims log/database separate files for each item including related pertinent documentation.
- Bachelor degree in engineering or other technically related disciple from a four-year accredited college/university with on to two year related experience.
- Previous engineering experience or extensive drill pipe and accessories product knowledge along with a good understand of product related to engineering functions and requirement is required.
- Previous quality control, gauge lab auditing and rig experience preferred.
- Experience with resolving issues with multiple outside inspection companies and/or third part representatives while maintaining customer relations preferred.
- Broad Knowledge/understanding of NOV Grant Prideco Drill Pipe product lines along with thorough understanding of related Manufacturing and Inspection procedures preferred.
- NOV Grant Prideco product knowledge is a plus
- Strong understanding/knowledge and or certification for Magnetic particle inspection, Level II and Ultrasonic Inspection, Level II.
- General knowledge of API Spec 5DP, API Spec 7, API Spec 7-1 and RP-7G applicable product requirements
- Extensive understanding of and or ability to disseminate customer specifications and contract review requirements
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport and able to travel on short notice as necessary
