NOV is currently recruiting for a B2B Representativeto join our team at 5130 N Sam Houston Parkway W. The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Type and distribute information; organize and maintain filing systems; prioritize and annotate mail.
  • Serve as the liaison between the supervisors, managers and/or executive and other company personnel. Relay messages and instructions.
  • Prepare materials and information for projects and/or meetings.
  • Order and maintain supplies.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with internal and external user community to ensure B2B documents are transmitted on time and processed successfully
  • Collaborate closely with B2B team to research and resolve errors
  • Report cause and resolution of B2B issues to management
  • Conduct modification testing of current B2B systems
  • Analyze and propose improvement of current B2B system
  • Monitor application and system logs
  • Ensure proper movement of documentation amid host system and trading partners
  • Create and maintain B2B program documentation
  • Train internal users on B2B application usage
  • Assist with management of external electronical database, i.e. eParts
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year related EDI/B2B experience and/or training
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of EDI/B2B documents (ex. XML and Flat Files)
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Customer focus

  • Capacity to work well under pressure
  • Creative problem solving skills
