JOB DESCRIPTION
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare equipment for repairing by pressure washing, blasting, painting etc.
- Check all structural and mechanical components for defects.
- Make any necessary repairs and replace broken parts.
- Calibrate equipment and paint exterior surfaces.
- Assist in shipping and inventory related matters.
- Assist in training new shop personnel.
- Provide assistance to others in difficult repair tasks.
- Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or combination of experience and education
- Basic mechanical knowledge required.
- Heavy equipment experience and oilfield servicing equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and dimensional detail drawings preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics preferred.
- Experience Using Hand tools required
