- Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics
- Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
- Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required
- Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
- Design, document, and implement software and hardware infrastructure improvements.
- Configure, optimize, and test Infrastrcuture Services in AWS ensure they comply with requirements and security policy.
- Install, test, maintain, and upgrade server software and hardware, providing detailed documentation of all configuration changes and asset inventory.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of technology upgrades and security patch/software updates.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve system and network performance.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate cost/budget KPI to product owners.
- Monitor and administer AWS cloud-based firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
- Manage user accounts and security groups based on a combination of Identity Provider and cloud-based RBAC resources.
- Monitor and administer a disaster recovery methods, testing periodically to ensure business continuity
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information sciences, or related field and/or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
- Certifications in areas related to AWSv (Cloud Practioner or better) , Windows, Linux, and VMWare.
- Experience with AWS Services
- Proven track record of success in installation and maintenance of LINUX-based software as well as Windows Server
- Experience with workload monitoring and optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating automated scripts and software preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
