We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales and Tender Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the technical sales processes and activities, building a commercial function, and leading the development of bids and proposals to secure new business opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and sales targets.
• Establish a formal commercial organization in OMR with common tender and proposal processes and tools.
• Work closely with Business Devevelopment and Sales to identify and cultivate new business opportunities by understanding customer needs and proposing solutions based on OMR standard AGV's/AMRs.
• Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals, including scope definition, building pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and marketing, to develop comprehensive proposals that meet client requirements.
• Supporting business development leads in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential sales opportunities and threats.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team during customer presentations and negotiations.
• Establish dashboards, prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5 - 8 years of experience and success in technical sales and/or engineering role.
• Strong understanding of intralogistics products, technologies, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and senior executives.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting technical proposals and sales presentations to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software; familiarity with proposal management tools is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
