Candidate Profile

• Bachelor or Engineering/Business Master Degree.

• 3-5 years of experience with strong background in renewable energies development ideally from greenfield status as well as good networking.

• Knowledge of the PV, Wind & Battery Storage Sector, energy regulations, tender mechanisms and the project development cycle.

• Experience developing professional network and new partnership, negotiating and closing commercial transactions with developers, landlords and engineering.

• Experience in tender process will be positively valued

• Leadership, proactive, negotiation skills, team and hard worker who thrives on a challenge and goal orientated.

• Spanish and English fluent, ideal French.

Activities

Business Development Manager responsibilities are the following:

• Origination and early development of renewable energy portfolio (mainly Solar PV and Wind) by acquiring and/or by partnering with local and/or international developers.

• Analysis and screening of early-stage renewable energy projects

• Coordinates and be responsible of work-streams (e.g., Technical, legal, financial, Due Diligences, etc.) and operational follow-up of the projects

• Manages long time commercial relationship with partners: follow-up, monitoring and prioritization of projects, promotion of current business opportunities.

• Manages public tender for renewable energy projects, developing innovative proposals and coordinating with internal and/or external resources. Prepares and coordinates relevant documentation for tenders including design and coordination of local action plans.

• Collaboration and contribution to the development of BESS projects

• Ensures economic viability of each Project

• Keeps himself/herself fully informed on key market developments and industry news/events/regulatory frameworks to quickly identify business opportunities

• Be proactive to identify differentiating project optimization (hybridization and innovative technology use), to ensure both competitivity and long-term acceptance

• Preliminary phases of administration consulting and processing of renewable energy projects (onshore wind, solar PV, batteries and other renewable technologies).
