Job Purpose |
· Monitoring and oversight of the Compression topsides and NFPS contractor team field planning, coordination and execution activities within designated area of responsibility. · Appraises the performance of the contractor team in safety, quality and schedule. · Prepare and provides routine verbal and written progress reports to the Head of Fabrication and updates progress performance of the contractor with analysis to achieve progress · Ensures that the contractor’s E&I team develops, implements and sustains its Safety and Quality program at site · Review the contractor’s construction deliverables such as Method Statements, construction procedures, etc as per company specification |

Key Accountabilities (Duties include but not limited to) |
1. Provides safety leadership by example to the NFPS Project Team and Topsides fabrication contractor, its sub-contractor and site vendors 2. Responsible for ensuring the NFPS contractor team implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for HSES project deliverables. 3. As NFPS Project team construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the NFPS contractor team and its sub contractor(s) in their area of responsibility. 4. Report on the construction activities, progress, areas of concern and mitigation actions to Head of Fabrication and participate as well as contribute to weekly construction discipline review meetings. 5. Responsible for implementation of execution activities and ensures development, review and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures and programs for safe and effective execution. 6. Reviews and approves the NFPS contractor team’s construction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements. Participate in constructabilty reviews, workshops during construction to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in their area of responsibility. 7. Support the engineering team to stay on schedule to meet all critical milestones; develops and stewards recovery plans to address any schedule delays 8. Review construction risks and assist in providing mitigation measures. Report Risks to the NFPS Head of Fabrication. 9. Verify that the EPC Contractor’s reports are accurate with regards to progress reporting. 10. Monitor site material handling, preservation and storage/warehouse procedures with respect to their area to facilitate construction progress. |

Technical and Business Skills

· Able to supervise a multi-cultural team committed to meeting project objectives · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT · A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English. Chinese language will be advantage. · Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications

Qualifications |
Engineering/Construction Degree or relevant is beneficial, however, not a requirement and a minimum of 10 years industry experience at a senior level. · Certified instrumentation professional (level II or III) and or / · Certified Electrical professional (power systems / CompEX.. or other)

Knowledge and/or Experience |
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in E&I works of Oil & Gas industry with exposure to Topsides construction on Fabrication Yards. · Exhaustive experience for preparation, fabrication and construction of E&I activities of offshore structure including especially Topsides structures with EPCI contractors. · Knowledge about GTG, EDG installation, Heaters, packages related E&I works · Knowledge about LER / Control rooms/Automation /ICSS/ Telecom · Experience managing multiple EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in project execution · Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards,specifications and codes
