JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Specialist Engineer (Const. Civil) with extensive experience in the oil and Gas industry for ADNOC Onshore client to be based in Abu Dhabi.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor work progress for compliance to schedule, budget, technical specifications, and legal requirements
• Conduct progress meetings and prepare reports on project status
• Communicate and implement safety rules, policies, and procedures and subordinate personnel
• Recognize and act promptly on potential changes or additional work to the contract conflicts or ambiguities in the plans and specifications and changes in field conditions
• Negotiate, analyze, resolve settle, deny, and/or make recommendations regarding contractor conflicts and claims considering contract plans specifications and estimates, conditions, costs and time
• Conduct field visits to examine construction site conditions and issues
• Participate actively as a member of the Clients construction team for project delivery
• The position manages construction activities related to the development of multiple, simultaneous network infrastructure projects including distributing bid packages, coordinating bid walk
• Evaluates new products, services, and vendors

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
