Intertek Food Services is for a Driver based in an around Milton Keynes to drive a refrigerated van, making collections of samples from our customer sites, in accordance with a pre-determined route and times scales and deliver the samples to an Intertek Lab or other location as required.
This role will assist the Customer Services Team regarding the Intertek 5X5 and 10X policies and ensure that the Team play an active role in growing the Ethical and Values driven Culture and Team Development of the business as a whole.

Required skills and experience:
- Valid driving license with no more than 6 points
- A good geographical knowledge of the UK
- Excellent Communication & Customer relations skills
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability & flexible work-style
- Problem-solving ability
- Occasional heavy lifting experience
- Van driving and customer care skills
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the industry or similar role
- High mile/low volume van work experience
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Key activities:
- Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Ensure that all documentation is completed when collecting from customers and when delivering to Labs
- Ensure that temperature protocols are followed and that any variances are reported immediately by phone
- Carry out vehicle checks and report all defects immediately
- Drive company vans in a safe, legal, economic and courteous manner
- Use in-cab technology as required.
- Act as the first line of contact at customer sites and build good relationships with our customers.
