We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team.
What will you do?
- Advise and support our end users and partners on site during the commissioning of large-scale projects, whereby the focus will be on variable speed drives and soft starters.
- Provides technical and operational support to sales and project teams to increase sales and to achieve defined commercial targets
- Maintenance and repair of existing equipment
- Coordination and supervision of subcontractors in all phases of the realization of service projects
- The travel time is 50 - 80 %
- If our technical support can no longer help, you will help: in the course of troubleshooting, you will first access the systems remotely and, with the help of your expertise, always find the right solution
- Train end users in our training center in our office as well as on site and contribute your know-how to the conception of new training courses
- Technical background, VI or VII level degree OR 5 year experience in similar roles
- Nice to have: advanced knowledge on variable speed drives
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement
- You don't think in terms of problems, but find solutions, whereby your talent for improvisation helps you
- Culture of customer first
- Strong collaborative skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast changing environment
