The Channel Strategy Business Analyst Project Manager will be responsible for supporting management of a portfolio of strategy projects for electrical wholesale distributors, catalog partners, and retail partners. This position will focus on managing and prioritizing a portfolio of key strategic initiatives resulting in executing and monitoring projects or programs aligned with our system of management, while creating project plans and tracking key milestones/risks/dependencies using both agile and non-agile methodologies. This individual will work closely with Channel Strategy Analytics Manager and leaders across Channel Sales, the National Sales Force, Commercial Operations, and our lines of business.

Key activities include:

  • Understand and address market trends, customer/distributor needs, competition, primary economic levers, and industry trends by utilizing data analytics.
  • Develop data strategies aligned with organizational and strategic goals and data governance policies.
  • Analyze channel portfolio coverage by geography, segment, or capability and propose solutions to close gaps.
  • Engagement in growth / development roadmap for U.S. Distribution network based on well-defined fact base
  • Participate in scenario planning for options to ensure the strongest channel in the industry.
  • Ensure data quality through data profiling, cleansing, and validation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that can impact our strategic tenets' success.
  • Create comprehensive project reports, presentations and documentation for stakeholders, as part of our system of management.
  • Develop business case for conversion of partners or channel moves
  • Present proposals to senior leadership for channel partner changes or investments.

Qualifications
  • +5 years experience in Channel or Commercial Operations. Experience working with US distribution partners is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate partners' businesses and recommend actions to improve portfolio
  • Data Management Expertise: Proficiency in data architecture, data modeling, and data quality assurance
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills for planning, executing, and monitoring data projects
  • Data Governance Knowledge: Understanding data governance principles and compliance regulations
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to ensure results through others.
  • Solid understanding of Construction, Residential, and Industrial markets and key segments within these markets.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization with a change agent, mission-based mentality.
  • Results orientated, intellectually curious, creative and highly self-motivated
  • Willingness to challenge conventional thinking
