Ensuring the resilience and reliability of electrical power systems is fundamental. Achieving this involves leveraging grid modernization technology, particularly through the implementation of FLISR (Fault Location, Isolation, and Service Restoration). FLISR serves to pinpoint faults, isolate them, and efficiently restore power to customers, thereby reducing outage durations. This technology plays a vital role in modern power systems.

As a Power Engineer , you will be responsible for :
  • I mplement ing fault location, isolation, and service restoration algorithms ,
  • M aintain ing reliability and efficiency of power systems through algorithm development ,
  • P artner ing with cross-functional teams for collaborative work on system enhancements ,
  • A pply ing expertise in power systems and programming to drive innovation ,
  • C reat ing and develop ing solutions for smart grid technology ,
  • T est ing and validat ing algorithms to ensure their effectiveness and reliability in real-world scenarios.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field,
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Fortran, C/C++, or C#,
  • In-depth understanding of electrical power systems,
  • Experience with SCADA and ADMS systems is a plus,
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills,
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
