Overview

Perform and Supervise Repair and Maintenance of LWD and DD Tools for Drilling Services.

Responsibilities

Core Competencies & Capabilities
• Collaborates within the product line to communicate, maintain, and implement Quality Management System (QMS),
Operational Procedures Management Systems (OEPS) .
• Focal point for R&M repair. To perform and supervise repair and maintenance of LWD &DD tools for Drilling Services.
• To support all Districts around the world in setting up R&M facilities, providing tools and equipment and any other
concerns, solutions, and needs for R&M operations.
• Perform and report, a complete and accurate failure analysis in a timely manner.
• Ensure communications are kept with manufacturing and R&D on the performance of new and old technology to
ensure the quality of the LWD and DD systems is at its highest standards.
• Ensure all assembly and disassembly records are accurate and up to date.
• Ensure all paperwork associated with the R&M of LWD & DD systems, are updated daily and filled out correctly and
completely.
• Ensure all locations are properly trained and using My Advisor, PFTs and Work Orders are being used to track both
electronically and by hard copies for R&M of Motors, & Jars with assembly and disassembly sheets scanned into the
PFTs. PFTs only for Districts using JDE. The ability, understanding, and use of TCNs, NCRs, & ECNs
• Coordinate with the Operation Supervisors with daily operations for current and upcoming contracts by inputting
solutions and ideas for all concerns of LWD operations.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC department to perform audits of all R&M procedures outlined in maintenance manuals
and ensure training requirements for new technology and upgrades to existing equipment are meet.
• Communicate with Manufacturing, R&D, and field operators for finding ways to improve the reliability of the LWD
system for ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Perform a complete and accurate evaluation of R&M technicians to ensure goals are set and proper training
requirements are implemented for quality assurance and advancements.
• Perform audits and accurate accounts of inventory with manufacturing using the JDE system and ensure proper
amounts of inventory are always kept .
• Coordinate repairs with the Operation supervisors, Manufacturing, and R&D, keeping track of assets incoming,
outgoing, and in repair.
• Coordinate with the import / export personnel for proper shipping of assets and inventory to and from other
operations around the world.
• Perform audits and keep accurate track of LWD & DD assets.
• Coordinate with the QHSE department to ensure safety concerns are addressed and solutions provided to maintain a
safe working environment.
• Ensure maintenance is performed on Break out, overhead crane, tools, and equipment used in the R&M department
and all equipment needing calibration is kep

Qualifications

C. Education and Qualifications Required
• User of WORD and EXCEL software
• Understanding of Computer application within the proposed job environment
• Ability to generate clear and concise reports in a timely and professional manner.
• Well-developed communication skills across product lines and at management level.
• Strong hands on technical background
• Good communication (both written and oral), presentation, leadership/supervisory/team and
organizational skills.
• Competent computer knowledge.
• Capable of multitasking and working effectively under pressure.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Earth Sciences or equivalent experience.
