The Turbine Module Design Engineers with a Design Focus are component owners of hardware to be designed or modified;

Job Duties:

• Responsibility for all aspects of design - mechanical design, model/drawing definition, creating a bill of materials and releasing into PLM, supporting hardware procurement and manufacturing /assembly support.
• Work with Drafting, Sourcing & Manufacturing, and coordinate interfaces across Aero, Heat Transfer, and Materials, and Design teams.
• Will interact with different teams such as Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
• Potential to be a component/hardware owner/specialist. While this is a design
• focus, candidate should still have enough analytic competency to work on models.

Technical Requirements:

• Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline.
• Classic Ansys/mechanical design experience (Structural and thermal)
• UG/NX experience ( 4 years)
• At least 4 years of engineering design experience in gas turbine
• engines
• Knowledge of FEA and CAD software
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Customer satisfaction mindset, ability to work well in a team environment with a positive "can do" attitude"
