JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance services to their Lytton site.

Wood is currently recruiting for motivated and experienced Mechanical Fitters with Rotating Equipment experience, to be part of our team.

Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pump alignment
• Preservation of rotating and static equipment
• Demonstrated experience in pressure testing
• Asset maintenance background
• Experience with data assessment, ordering spares and recording (Microsoft Excel).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Rotating experience is essential,
• Must be trade qualified with proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments,
• Knowledge of pumps, valves, vessels, pipework, PSV's etc,
• Knowledge of Turbines and ancillary equipment,
• Machine alignment principles,
• Hydro testing,
• Air compressors and associated ancillary equipment,
• Flange management, Hydrotesting, Valve and pipe installation experience required,
• Flexibility to join a on call roster.
