The Opportunity:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of our EPC projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying activities throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will contribute to the achievement of project objectives within budgetary constraints while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The responsibilities will include;

  • Change Management: Manage and control project changes effectively, including budget preparation, cost estimation, cost forecasting, and variance analysis at a site level with the cost control team.
  • Quantity Surveying: Perform detailed quantity take-offs, measurement, and valuation of work done, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Data Administration: Being pro-active in changes and identifying trends to change management team. Receiving changes and workflow for change management team. Analyse data and raise flags and potential changes to Project Team.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to cost, contracts, and procurement activities, ensuring proactive risk management strategies are in place.
  • Procurement: Assist in the procurement process for Sub-Contractors by evaluating supplier bids, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and procurement teams, as well as external stakeholders such as clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular Change and Trend reports, cost analysis, Site Instructions for change management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining a strong commitment to ethical conduct and integrity in all dealings.
  • Expected to follow up and ensure all information from the site team in uploaded and captured in the system for daily, weekly and monthly reports, Daily progress sheets, timesheets, site instructions etc.
  • Requires to analyse current inputs and identify and capture deviations and changes.


Qualification/ Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB, AACE) preferred.
